Backpacking the Silk Road

For those travellers seeking a more adventurous backpacking experience, off the beaten track and in places where you may be the only tourist, The Silk Road offers a multitude of cultures and landscapes.  The Silk Road was a network of trade routes that linked Europe to China, passing through Asia, Persia and the Arabian Peninsula.

With countries such as Turkey, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and of course China there is a great deal to see and do along this most ancient of paths across our world.  Follow in the footsteps of Marco Polo and many others to find the riches that the far east has to offer.

European travellers will need visas for almost all of the countries along the Silk Road.  Please contact us to find out how we can help you to plan your journey.
